The WE Day movement has had a profound impact on millions of young people across North America–mobilizing them to take action to improve their communities and the world. In 2013, Microsoft helped to bring WE Day to the United States after seeing how WE Day and the year-long WE Schools program inspired youth to be the change they wanted to see in the world. Since then, Microsoft has helped bring the movement to hundreds of thousands of students in the US and Canada.
I worked with the Senior Content Marketing Manager and Marcom Director to produce a #WeAreOne snapchat filter promoting accessibility. This filter was used at WeDay Chicago, Seattle, New York and Los Angeles. It has collectively grossed over 3.5 million views, given a shoutout on stage and was even used by two celebrities!
